In 1989 a dream was born and a vision for a new kind of furniture store was turned into reality.  One dedicated man set forth in providing a furniture shopping experience like no other.  There were plenty of furniture stores, but the idea for this store was to be different.  The “big box stores” had firmly taken root and customer service was at an all time low.  Great Bridge Furniture was going to be a store that changed all of that.  There would be no commissioned sales people that pounced on customers the moment they walked in the door.  Every customer that came into Great Bridge Furniture was to be “treated like family” it was our motto then and we remain true to that motto today.

We’re not the only store in the area that carries brand names such as Ashley, Broyhill, and Craftmaster along with many others, but we are the store that makes buying that furniture a pleasurable experience.

We never set out to be the biggest furniture store in the industry, but we do strive to be the best. Many businesses talk about their customer service and quality commitment, but that’s where we are different. We don’t just talk about it, we live it everyday.  Every person that works at Great Bridge Furniture knows that satisfied customers are our company’s number one asset.

What do we do to keep our customers satisfied? Our entire team does whatever it takes to make your furniture shopping experience a pleasure.  Have you ever been in a store 10 minutes before closing and heard the closing announcement? No matter how friendly it may sound, what they are really saying is… “We’re ready to go and you’re not welcome here anymore” You will never hear that while shopping at Great Bridge Furniture. Our doors close at the end of the day only when the last customer has left.  We are here for you. 

Yes, as with any furniture stores, there are some circumstances that are out of our control, such as manufacturing delays.  We’ve been known to loan furniture for that special occasion until your order has arrived.  Is that going above and beyond? Yes, but that’s what we do.  Do you need your furniture delivered after hours, or on a Sunday morning? Don’t be surprised to find the owner of Great Bridge Furniture making that delivery for you.

We know that every time we walk through your door that we are guests in your home, so we treat you and your home like it’s our own.  Our dedicated team will leave only after we know that you are satisfied with your new furniture and know every aspect of its function and operation.  We inspect every item before it leaves our store to ensure that your quality expectations are met long before your purchase ever arrives in your home.
